Video I produced for the Texas State Library and Archives Commission’s latest exhibit, Texans’ Struggle for Freedom and Equality which offers visitors the opportunity to view documents and images integral to Texas’ social history, illustrating the heroic efforts of early Texas settlers, the consequences of Indian and Mexican conflicts, demands for civil rights for African-Americans and Tejanos and the campaign for women’s suffrage.

2013-2014 Texas State Library and Archives Biennial Report
The 2013-2014 TSLAC Biennial Report comprises highlights of data presented in a graphical form from the most recent two years of operation of the Texas State Library and Archives Commission. The data includes information from the Texas State Library, Texas State Archive, Library Development and Networking Services and Texas Talking Book Program. The design falls directly in line with the new graphic standards I have implemented at the agency as Communications Officer.
Campus Vote Project Website
I partnered with Washington D.C. based non-partisan voting rights group, Fair Elections Legal Network to re-brand and update the web and print presence of their outreach efforts of Campus Vote Project. Campus Vote Project educates young people and students on the importance of voting and helps to remove barriers that they might face on college campuses. CVP provides resources and information to help students register to vote and ensures access to other important election related materials.
Texas State Library and Archives Commission Logo Redesign
As Communications officer of the Texas State Library and Archives Commission, I recently took on the task of re-designing and re-branding the image of the agency. The mission of the Texas State Library and Archives Commission is to safeguard significant resources, provide information services that inspire and support research, education and reading, and enhance the capacity for achievement of current and future generations. The new logo incorporates our iconic deco-style building into three options of a logo that is now used on all agency collateral, letterhead and external media.

Good News for ALL Hoosiers in Love
Good News for ALL Hoosiers in Love! Indiana’s Ban On Gay Marriage Has Been Ruled Unconstitutional! Just a friendly reminder, that I am a Licensed Wedding Officiant with many happy couples under my clerical collar. I’d love to be a part of your special occasion and this historic step forward for human rights and equality in the State of Indiana!
I was fortunate enough to preside over the Civil Union Ceremony of my friends Fred and Peter following the State of Illinois’ 2011 decision to recognize same sex partnerships. The status of their union was recently recognized as a marriage by means of a law signed on November 20, 2013 by Illinois Governor Pat Quinn that took effect on June 1, 2014.
Keep Families United
Project: Keep Families United
Client: Catholic Charities of St. Louis Advocacy Department/ Latinos en Axion
Content Created: Logo, Photographs and Print Materials
Brief: I was approached by the advocacy department of the Archdiocese of St. Louis to design a campaign to help raise awareness of the deportation and separation of immigrant families in the city of St. Louis and the State of Missouri and to promote the passage of comprehensive immigration reform. As part of the first phase of the campaign, collateral was created to be used as mail action pieces to be signed by parishioners and sent to key decision making legislators in Washington D.C. The second phase of the campaign will include additional print materials and an art installation on Cherokee Street, the thriving epicenter of multicultural St. Louis.
ABC Preschool and Daycare Website
Recently I had the pleasure of working with St. Charles, Missouri based ABC Daycare and Learning Center to update their web site and freshen their look. The new site features many updated visual elements, sliders, parent testimonials and maps to help prospective parents find the perfect location for their preschooler.
Huber and Associates Online Ad
Huber & Associates has been taking the hassle out of high-tech for over 27 years. Launched by two electrical engineers who had the minds for computer systems and the hearts for helping people find solutions to their technical problems. Huber & Associates was in need of a video to help folks get to know them a little better, and I was more than happy to produce this fun piece involving a slew of technological icons from days gone by to help frame the story of this big-hearted tech firm.
