Library of Congress Letters About Literature (Video)

This video was produced for the Center for the Book at the Library of Congress to promote the nationwide Letters About Literature reading and writing competition.

Each year the Center for the Book at the Library of Congress invites students in grades 4 through 12 to flex their reflective writing skills and write a letter to an author—living or dead—explaining how their work changed your view of yourself or your world.

This video is featured on the Library of Congress website, plays on loop at the Young Reader’s Center in Washington D.C and is used as a teaching tool in classrooms to encourage students to participate in the contest.
